More than a general store, the Homesteaders Hub is a marketplace, learning center, and gathering place built around the skills that strengthen our homes and communities.

Inside you’ll find thoughtfully chosen homesteading goods, clean pantry staples, Preppin Mama favorites, and high-integrity products from local makers, farmers, and small businesses we know and believe in.

But the heart of the Hub has always been bigger than what sits on the shelves. Through hands-on classes in Heritage Hall, community gatherings, and the growing Lost Skills Revival, we’re creating a place to learn, share what we know, and carry practical skills forward.

It’s also the proud home and birthplace of National Homesteaders Day—founded right here in Mount Pleasant, Iowa.
